Greetings! I'm Michael Lee and welcome to my personal website. Here I publish some of my writings of mathematics and physics and a little about myself. For mathematics, I developed a method of doing analytic geometry that can calculate the surface areas, and portions thereof, for a torus, a sphere, a cone, a pyramid. and a circle. For most applications, only knowledge of trigonometry and a good solid introductory course in calculus is needed for the most part. In physics, I spoke about Newtonian mechanics and provided a kinetic energy derivation, how to derive the Lorentz transformation and its relationship to length contraction and time dilation, the derivation of mass variance, and finally Einstein's famous equation... |
